Welcome to our blog! SceneOne Photography began completely by chance. We are a family business that got its start by volunteering our talents for friends and family. Eventually it became more than a hobby and we ventured into the world of LLC's and Websites, and here we are! It's an ongoing journey, but so worth the ride! Check out the website and the entries here on the blog and have a great day!
Congrats to Michele and Michael who were married yesterday at the Calvary Chapel in Hesperia, CA! The reception was at the Terrace Room in Hesperia. What a wonderful family wedding with so much heart!
My wonderful friends Natalie and Efrain were married at the Fleur de lis Chapel on sunday! It was such a touching event and having known them for several years I was SO honored that they chose me to capture the day. The officiant was a long time friend also, Pastor Bruce Taylor. God bless the new couple and may happiness always be with you guys. I love you!
Usually our resident "senior" photographer gets to shoot all of the seniors, but I got to shoot these of Alexandria. She is graduating this year and already attending VVC. A terrific girl with a wonderful spirit about her. Great fun Alexandria and Congrats!
The wedding season is in full force now and we are shooting so many events I can hardly keep up with the blog! We shot Natalie and Efrain's engagement photos the other day and they are getting married at the Fluer de lis chapel! It should be beautiful and very Old World! We had a great day in Long Beach and Newport and are looking forward to the wedding. A few pics!!
We have a new addition to SceneOne and a very talented one at that! J.R. Kurtz is a long time resident of the high desert. His Mother is Pat Yancey, director for many years of Apple Valley High's "Sunsations". J.R. is a talented photographer and a musician. All of the guys say he is cool, and all of the girls think he's cute. Welcome JR! A couple of shots of him in action!
Congrats to Dan and Michele on a beautiful wedding at the Poderosa in Apple Valley California this past weekend! I love it when there are children at a wedding and this one won the prize for some of the cutest kids. What a great family and the start of a great life together. Hi Jackie (Bride's Mom)!
We shot Kathryn and Rudy's rehearsal late last night and can't wait to shoot their wedding in Silver Lakes on Saturday! Hopefully Paula (one of our photographers) won't go into labor, but we've got Mike and Rusty there too just in case :) It should be an exciting day. Congratulations to the beautiful couple!
Well, we just did an engagement shoot in Washington and some of those pics will be up in a couple of days. But, the travel time from California to Washington is so full of beautiful sites I just had to share a couple with all of you. Awesome!
What a beautiful day in Laguna Beach and what a terrific couple. Michele and Mike are being married at the Calvary Chapel in Hesperia California in May of this year. We spent the day bumming around the beach in Laguna yesterday and had dinner at the Islands. It was windy and rainy on the way down, but the sun came out just for Michele and Mike...I think Michele's smile could have illuminated the whole beach! Thanks guys and looking forward to the wedding!
I have been married to the same wonderful man for 33 years. We love to travel together and spend hours just talking. He enjoys my creative side and I lean on his intellectual side that kind of keeps life in balance. We are so happy in our marriage that it is just natural that we enjoy the wedding industry! Paula Vaughn is our other primary photographer and also our Daughter. She had been married for 5 years and loves to shoot weddings and portraits. All of us love to travel to destination weddings!
